Game Two in the ALDS showdown between the Yankees and Rays will get started at 8:10 PM. While we wait, we can go over the lineup the Bombers will run out in hopes of extending their series lead.
The full Lineup of Doom is on display tonight, carrying over the same top eight as yesterday. The only difference comes in the nine hole, as Gary Sánchez takes over for Kyle Higashioka behind the plate. Imagine that: Sánchez as the number nine hitter.
There are no soft landings with this lineup. At no point can a pitcher catch his breath, and that makes it exactly the kind of batting order you need against a pitcher of Tyler Glasnow’s caliber.

This lineup can also give Deivi García some breathing room, if all goes well.
We’ll have a full game thread up a half hour before first pitch. In the meantime, let us know what you think of the lineup. Would you try anything differently? Drop us a line in the comment section.
