The sprint for the ALCS is underway. Unlike previous years, we have no days off during the ALDS, so the series could be over in the blink of an eye. With a victory yesterday, the Yankees could be in position to advance as soon as tomorrow night, should they manage a win in Game Two. The pressure is already on Tampa, and New York has a chance to seize a commanding lead.
Surprisingly, they’ll ask Deivi Garcia to do the job. He’ll square off with Rays dynamo Tyler Glasnow at 8:10 EST. Let’s hope the youngster is up for the task.
