Presenting American League Division Series Bingo

We had no bingo in the Wild Card Series. Maybe we’ll have better luck in the ALDS!

We came close to bingo in the Wild Card Series, but sadly we fell short. Shoot. That’s okay, though, because we can try again with a Yankees ALDS bingo game! We should have a good time, too, because it’s taking place in the bubble in San Diego, and against a rival Rays squad.

In an attempt to have some fun with the series, the PSA staff got together to produce the very official (read: unofficial) ALDS Bingo Game! We put together a bunch of baseball tropes and possible outcomes that viewers might see on this week’s broadcast. They range from the good (Gerrit Cole double-digit strikeouts) to the not so good (Aaron Boone argues strikes) to the utterly predictable (“Stable of guys who throw 98”).

The rules are simple. Check off any five in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonally) and you win! Seeing as there is only one card, we’re in this together, just like the Yankees. Also, shoutout to Dan Brink, PSA’s graphic design extraordinaire, for designing the game board. Let’s all give him a round of applause.

Go Yankees, go baseball, and of course go bingo!
