We have kept you up to date with what the Yankees have been up to on social media ever since baseball shutdown back in March. Although the season is over for New York, we’ll still provide weekly updates on what your favorite Yankees do when they’re not on the diamond!
Jasson Dominguez
The Yankees’ top prospect posted this video of him absolutely launching a baseball into orbit. I have never seen a baseball hit that hard by someone so young. The 17-year-old looks scary already.
Scary hours for the league when Jasson Dominguez comes up

Clint Frazier
From being called “Red Blunder” in the outfield just a season ago, Red Thunder is now a Gold Glove candidate. After recording -12 OAA in 2019, Frazier got to work and improved drastically in the field. Upon hearing the news of his Gold Glove nomination, he reacted accordingly on Twitter.

Masahiro Tanaka
While Frazier was nominated for a Gold Glove, Tanaka was not, despite his two defensive runs saved in 48 innings. Tanaka is known to be a perfectionist and as one of the better defenders on the mound, but he will continue to work until he gets that elusive Gold Glove.
I will continue to work hard to improve both my pitching and defense.

Gerrit Cole and Masahiro Tanaka
The two Yankees arms went on a sushi date with their wives last week. Not only are they friends on the field, but they also hang out off the field. Tanaka will enter free agency this offseason and I’m sure many Yankees fans would love to see him back in pinstripes.
