The World Series kicks off tonight, as Tampa Bay and Los Angeles will battle to see who can win their second title of the sports year. On a more serious note, it should be an interesting pitching matchup with Clayton Kershaw going against Tyler Glasnow. I could give you a non-partisan take on this, but Kershaw is my favorite non-Yankee and I’m still upset at the Rays, so go Dodgers.
Today Dan Kelly starts us off with a look at how the prospect systems of all of the top teams from the playoffs have sustained them, and Cooper follows up with a run-through of the Yankees’ poor defensive metrics this season. Jake gives us some positives to take away from this year, and Peter dives into how Mike Ford’s regression has jeopardized his spot on the 2021 team.
Fun Questions:
1. What was your most positive takeaway from this season?
2. Who’s going up 1-0 tonight?
