Three areas of need for the Yankees this offseason; Grading some hot takes post-ALDS; Curry missed postseason run after positive test

Regardless of if they bring back their impending free agents, they’ll have to bring in some new faces to improve enough to avoid the situation they just found themselves falling in. The needs are clear, but the bigger question is who they can get to fill them.

New York Post | Ken Davidoff: There’s been plenty of reactions to how the ALDS played out, some of them emotional, some of them justifiable, and some that fall into both categories. When it comes to criticizing key pieces of the team, however, it’s clear that there are some narratives that hold some weight.

ESPN: Jack Curry was missed on the YES Network desk throughout the postseason, and now we know why he was missing in action. Curry tested positive for COVID-19, and promptly quarantined to wait out the virus. Curry said that he is now “feeling a lot better,” and we wish him the best.
