Pinstripe Alley open thread - 9/5/19

That photo of Edwin Encarnacion, stuffed parrot in hand, hugging Cameron Maybin might be my favorite picture of the year. I think it brilliantly sums up the season. The Yankees, riding high on victory, carried by a series of unheralded contributors. Imagine seeing that picture back in spring training. What a strange, fun season it’s been.
