Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Yankees fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

After a season filled with injuries, the Yankees head into the playoffs at close to full health. Giancarlo Stanton and Luis Severino have already made it back, while Edwin Encarnacion and Gary Sanchez expect to return in the next few days. Of those players, fans appear most excited about Severino.

In this week’s FanPulse, we asked Yankees fans who they expected to have a significant impact on the postseason. Severino received 81.82% of the votes, with Stanton a distant second at 12.99%. Sanchez (3.90%) and Encarnacion (1.30%) barely registered. They’re still cool! Fans are just excited about Severino.

At a team confidence level, clinching the AL East gave the Bombers a boost. They reached 91% this week. Aaron Boone drew the same numbers in the manager approval poll.

This week’s national question asked about the injury-shortened seasons of Mike Trout and Christian Yelich hamper their MVP cases.

Survey says no! Trout should be the run-away, but I suppose Yelich’s injury gives Cody Bellinger time to move ahead. We shall see.
