NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: Some fans say the Yankees hit too many home runs or rely too heavily on the long ball. If you are that type of person, make sure you don’t say that around Aaron Boone. He believes that claim is completely false and the numbers prove otherwise. Pinstripe Alley also wrote extensively on the topic last fall.

NJ.com | Brian Fonseca: MLB.com revealed its prospects rankings for all 30 teams, including a top 100 prospects list. Right-handed pitcher Deivi Garcia was chosen as the best prospect in the Yankees’ system, and 63rd overall in the entire league. Coming in at the Yankees’ second-best prospect was not Estevan Florial, however, it was 16-year-old Jasson Dominguez.

CBS Sports| Chris Bengal: CC Sabathia started his last game in Yankee Stadium, and it just may be the last start of his career. Sabathia, 39, has a Hall of Fame resume and has been involved in many historic moments. Bengal takes a look back on some the best moments from his 18-year career.

New York Post | George A. King III: The Yankees have released five minor league staffers. Three of the five departures include a hitting coordinator, field coordinator, and a pitching coordinator.
