A day after the Yankees got their All-Star pitcher back in Luis Severino, they will be getting 2017 MVP Giancarlo Stanton back today. The attention, however, will not only focus on him. CC Sabathia will make his final regular-season start in the Bronx tonight, in what has been a Hall of Fame career. With a win, it would be their 100th on the year, and the Yankees would clinch the AL East title for the first time since 2012. What a moment it would be to see CC lead the Yankees playoff clinching victory.
Stanton will be batting fifth and playing left field in his first major league game since June 25. Brett Gardner moves to center, Gleyber Torres will DH as DJ LeMahieu will play second.
