The Yankees are on a six-game winning streak! On the heels of a four-game sweep against Boston, they kicked off a seven-game roadtrip with a victory in Baltimore. We’ll have a full recap up later. Check out the highlights in the meantime:

Winner of the Game

You know, it’s amazing how this team continues to truck along despite all the injuries. Most of the offense made meaningful contributions tonight, and several players flashed serious leather. Mike Tauchman was the standout, however. The outfielder was 3-for-4 with two home runs and a single.

Honorable Mention: Honestly, the rest of the lineup (with the exception of Gleyber Torres, who went to the hospital yesterday)

Loser of the Game

A crummy sixth inning by Masahiro Tanaka let the Orioles back into the game. After a leadoff double by Renato Nunez, Jace Peterson homered to cut Baltimore’s deficit in half. Tanaka surrendered a single, double, then sac fly to make it a 6-4 game. Tommy Kahnle entered with one on and one out, and gave up a two-run blast to Jonathan Villar to tie up the game. Thankfully, the Mikes picked up the team and hit the winning runs.

Honorable Mention: Tommy Kahnle
