Pinstripe Alley open thread - 8/31/19

Here’s your weekend open thread.

It’s good to see the Yankees back in the Bronx. It’s not good, apparently, to see them playing the Athletics again. After getting swept away in Oakland last week, the Yankees got crushed by the A’s in last night’s series opener.

We’ll see if Domingo German can turn the tide and stay on track to win 20 games as he takes the ball this afternoon. He’ll square off with Homer Bailey, starting at 1:05 EST.
