After sweeping yesterday’s doubleheader with the rival Rays, the Yankees have again firmly entrenched themselves. They expanded their division lead to eight games, and will look to further fortify their roster before the trade deadline. Good times in the Bronx.
The work continues tonight, as the Yankees open up another series at home, this one a three-game set with Rockies. J.A. Happ gets the ball in that one, matched up with fellow southpaw Kyle Freeland.
