The Yankees and Blue Jays will wrap up this weekend series in the Bronx in a Sunday matinee. Masahiro Tanaka will take the mound for his first appearance in the second half and since the All-Star Game. Yankees starting pitchers have allowed no more than two runs in six of their last eight starts, and have combined for a 2.63 ERA over that span.
Tanaka will look to continue his recent success against Toronto. He has won six straight starts at home against the Blue Jays with a 1.59 ERA during that stretch.
Gary Sanchez and Aaron Hicks will get the day off. Austin Romine will be behind the plate, and Mike Tauchman will patrol left field.

The Bombers will be up against Blue Jays ace, Marcus Stroman. Stroman has swirled in all different kinds of trade rumors, including some to the Bronx. This will be a big game for him as he can showcase what he can bring to a contending team. He owns a 3.18 ERA over 18 starts this season, which is good for eighth-best in the American League.
