So, that series in London was something, huh? The Yankees scored a whopping 29 runs over the course of two games, compared to Boston’s 21 runs. Pitching was collectively a nightmare, but the Bombers swept the series, so it worked out okay in the end. They’ll have today off to adjust back to the time change and recover from jet lag. Normal baseball activities resume tomorrow when they finish up the Subway Series at Citi Field. They’ll then head to Tampa for a four-game set against the Rays before the All-Star break begins.
