The Yankees dropped the first game of the series 4-3 as the offense failed to capitalize on their chances with runners in scoring position. Masahiro Tanaka was rolling up until the fifth inning, then the Blue Jays tagged him for four runs. The Bombers look to rebound tonight as James Paxton will take the bump in his home country!

The Yankees are giving Aaron Hicks the day off as Brett Gardner will slide into center field. Clint Frazier will get his first chance back in right field after his poor performance against the Red Sox on June 2.

The Blue Jays look to take the series tonight with a win. It would be their first series win since April 26-28 when they swept the Oakland Athletics. Trent Thornton will start for the Jays, and Teoscar Hernandez returns from the minors after a poor start to the season. He will be in center field.

The game can be seen on YES and FuboTV, or you can listen on WFAN and WADO. First pitch is at 7:07 PM ET. Let’s go Yankees!
