The weather sure hasn’t cooperated this week, and it looks bad tomorrow too. The Yankees were able to get in tonight’s game though, after a very delayed start. After a win tonight, they’re up 2-0 in this series against the rival Rays! Check out the highlights:
Winner(s) of the Game
Holy cow, Cameron Maybin! The Bombers are running out of room on the roster for him, but he is really trying to force their hand. The outfielder has now homered in four consecutive games. He also picked up two singles. They can’t DFA him at this point, right? They are going to have to think long and hard about going with one less reliever. Meanwhile, the Yankees have now hit a home run in 21 consecutive games, and are approaching a franchise record of 25.
Gonna party like we just hit 21 (in-a-row). pic.twitter.com/CIHUDTRTQJ

Speaking of home runs, Edwin Encarnacion finally got his first hit in pinstripes, and it was a home run to right field.
Honorable Mention: DJ LeMahieu, Gary Sanchez, Luke Voit
Loser of the Game
Again, no one!
