The Yankees and Rays, who were previously connected to Keuchel, have been joined by the Twins, Braves, Cardinals, and Brewers in pursuing the left-hander’s services. Joel Sherman of the New York Post looks at the Keuchel sweepstakes through the lens of the Yankees/Mets rivalry, while ESPN’s Buster Olney reported that Keuchel has lowered his contract demands. | Bryan Hoch: Hoch advises circling June 4th for the possible return of Didi Gregorius to the Yankees. The star shortstop began the final leg of his rehab assignment in Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre yesterday, as he recovers from Tommy John surgery on his throwing elbow. YES Network Railriders correspondent DJ Eberle reported that Scranton/Wilkes-Barre manager Jay Bell said Sir Didi will be there “for six days.”

YES Network | Video: In comments to the assembled press yesterday in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Gregorius said the final stretch of his rehab is just about “getting my timing and everything back.” When asked if there have been any hiccups along the way, he replied with a smile, “so far everything’s been good.”
