Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Yankees fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
We’re another day closer to the 2019 MLB Draft. A little more than a week stands between the Yankees and the draft board. With that in mind, it makes sense to use this week’s FanPulse to gauge how confident fans are in the team’s ability to make a good draft selection.
As it turns out, the respondents are firmly behind Brian Cashman, Damon Oppenheimer, and the rest of the team’s decision makers.

The Yankees have made some questionable draft choices in the past, but they also drafted Aaron Judge. It comes as no surprise that fans are confident heading into the first round.
On the subject of the draft, most respondents in the national poll prefer to draft a college player who can hop on the fast-track instead of a high schooler with big tools.

As for the rest of this week’s FanPulse, Aaron Boone’s approval rating continues to climb. He’s at an 81% favorable score now, just three points off his preseason high. Team confidence is at an all time high, with the 92% confident rating eclipsing the 91% spring training total. Things are looking good for the Yankees!
