Aaron Hick’s 2019 debut will have to wait yet another day, as the Yankees and Orioles were rained out on this inclement Monday evening. The two AL East foes will square off tomorrow before a double-header on Wednesday.
It’s been a rainy day metaphorically for the Bombers as well, one that witnessed two more players — Miguel Andujar and Jonathan Loaisiga — added to the already lengthy injured list. Still, the team has won 18 of its past 25 games and will look to keep the momentum rolling tomorrow — or whenever the sun returns.
Here’s the Yankees’ official announcement on Twitter:
Tonight's Yankees game vs the Orioles has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. It will be made up this Wednesday, May 15th, as part of a single-game admission doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m. All Yankee Stadium Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. for the doubleheader.
