Another day, another injured Yankee out of the lineup. Clint Frazier is off to get a “precautionary” MRI as he misses his second straight game. Still, the Yanks have won five in a row and have CC Sabathia on the mound as they look to take the series against the Angels.
Sabathia has been splendid since returning from the IL, and sits just six strikeouts shy of 3,000 for his career. He will be countered by Cam Bedrosian, who will likely just put in an inning or two as the opener, before Felix Pena replaces him. Bedrosian enters this starts with a 4.09 ERA on the young season.
First pitch is scheduled for 10:07 p.m. EST. The game will be televised on YES, and MLB Network for out-of-market viewers. You can also listen in on WFAN 660/101.9 FM or WADO 1280.
Here are tonight’s lineups:
All eyes on CC as he goes for 3,000.
