It’s a good day to win a series (hopefully).

After a rough start to this series during Friday’s rain-shortened game, the Yankees bounced back yesterday. Now they’ll have a chance to win the series with Masahiro Tanaka on the mound. The right-hander has been great through the early goings, holding Baltimore, Detroit, and Houston to one run each. Tanaka only walked two batters across his first three outings, and racked up 15 strikeouts. It’s been nice to see him step up with Luis Severino on the IL.

He’ll square off opposite of Carlos Rodon. The lefty owns a 3.38 ERA (1.65 FIP) through his first three games of the season. He’s already notched a whopping 24 strikeouts (13.50 K/9) and hasn’t surrendered a home run. Hopefully that changes today.

As for the lineups, we finally see Brett Gardner moved down, and DJ LeMahieu on top:

First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 ET. You can watch the game on YES, MLB Network (out-of-market only), or stream via fuboTV. Radio listeners can tune in to WFAN or WADO.

Go Yankees!
