Divisional Round - Boston Red Sox v New York Yankees - Game Four
Photo by Elsa/Getty Images | Chad Thornburg: So hey, we’re all good to just forget about that series against the Astros, right? Right! Let’s move forward to our next series against the Chicago White Sox. Cool? Cool. Some good news for that series is that CC Sabathia is set to make his 2019 season debut on Saturday. Between the injury and the suspension, it’ll be good to have the big man back, in what is most likely his last season.

Newsday | Erik Boland: Some more good news. Miguel Andujar is hoping to avoid season-ending surgery and yesterday he took his best step towards that. Andujar threw softly and played catch and they’re hoping to continue that on Friday. We’re still on pins and needles until the next evaluation, but here’s hoping he’s okay. Please be okay.

New York Daily News | Kristie Ackert: You might have noticed the lack of Gary Sanchez in the starting lineup yesterday. I’m not 100% sure if it was due to the foul ball to the krakens, but I’m sure that didn’t help. Either way, Aaron Boone decided to give him the day off due to leg tightness. Considering the plethora of injuries plaguing the Bronx Bombers, better to be safe than sorry.

Gary Sanchez was brought in to pinch-hit, so he’s probably fine. Just didn’t want him behind the plate all night.

New York Post | AP: The Yankees have money. I think that’s pretty clear. Yesterday, Forbes released estimates that show the Yankees are valued at $4.6 billion. Apparently, that’s a 15% increase from last year. For the record, they are the most valuable team in the majors. The Miami Marlins are ranked lowest. YEAH JEETS!

Did I mention the money thing because I’m upset about them not spending much this offseason? I’m not saying I did, but I’m not not saying that either.
