Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders get out of the gate with some early noteworthy performances

The first week of Minor League games are in the books, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders broadcaster Adam Giardino gets you caught up on the action from the top level of the Yankees minor leagues.

Adam Marco, the Voice of the RailRiders, joins the pod as well. The discuss left-hander Gio Gonzalez making his first start of the season on Opening Night in Buffalo on April 4th, and infielder Mike Ford recording just the fifth three-homer game in 30 years of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre baseball.

A pair of interviews during the episode include a chat with the RailRiders Hitting Coach, Phil Plantier and Pitching Coach, Tommy Phelps. They take a look at the way the roster is constructed, touching on some of the early roster moves of Tyler Wade and Clint Frazier being promoted to the big leagues before the Triple-A season began and what the outlook is in 2019 for Chance Adams.
