Another day, another disheartening injury. At least, that’s what it’s felt like around Yankees camp these days. Yesterday, top prospect Estevan Florial suffered a broken wrist, cutting short what had been an excellent camp for the young outfielder. It’s a common refrain that the best thing that can come of the exhibition schedule is making it to the regular season without suffering major injuries, and unfortunately, it doesn’t appear the Yankees will be so lucky.
They get back to action today with a pair of games, against the Phillies and Orioles. Until then, feel free to wax poetic in this open thread.
