Winter’s arrival feels as imminent as ever, with a positive dearth of baseball and with frigid temperatures engulfing the tri-state area at the moment. As dry as a mid-August matinee between the Tigers and Blue Jays or the Cardinals and Diamondbacks may seem in the moment, I’d kill for one right about now.
