The Yankees are now enjoying a series of well-earned off-days. An impressive sweep of the Twins allows them to rest ahead of the ALCS. It also leaves us without Yankee baseball for several days, but I suppose that’s OK if it means the team has coasted to the championship round.
We’ll continue to await the Yankees’ return to the field on Saturday, but today, sate yourself with a pair of excellent NLDS games. Both the Cardinals and Braves and the Dodgers and Nationals play elimination games tonight to decide who advances to the NLCS.
