We’ve arrived at the first off-day of the postseason for the Yankees. The opening of this ALDS against couldn’t have gone better, with the Bombers sitting on a 2-0 lead as they head back to Minnesota. They have an excellent shot to make this a quick series and advance to the ALCS with Luis Severino on the mound tomorrow night.
Until then, we have the NLDS matchups to attend to. Both the Dodgers and the Nationals and the Braves and the Cardinals split the first two games of their respective series. Those kick back off today, starting at 4:10 EST in St. Louis.
Fun Questions
- Among the series that the Yankees aren’t taking part in, what has surprised you most so far this playoffs?
- Do you think a quick sweep of the Twins would help the Yankees in a potential ALCS, or do you think the extended lay-off would be a nuisance?
