The 2019 season has come to an end for the Yankees, and that means it’s time to recap the highs and lows of the year. After spending the first week of the offseason reviewing game-specific highlights, we arrive at a time-honored Pinstripe Alley tradition. The PSA staff is pleased to present the 2019 Yankees Roster Report Cards, our seventh installment in the yearly series.
We followed the same grading scheme as last year. For a refresher, the staff assigned a letter grade from A-F (or I for incomplete) to all 54 players who suited up for the Yankees this season. They used production, consistency, and performance relative to expectation as the grading benchmarks. The final grade was the average of those individual marks.
This post will serve as the tracker for the report cards, keeping the links to them in an easy-to-access location.
