We’ve now had a full day the Yankees’ crushing exit from the postseason. The Yankees have suffered their fair share of tough playoff losses in the time since their last World Series win, but I’m not sure any come close to what went down Saturday night. The memories, and wounds, from that game and that series will linger for a while.
We still don’t even have baseball to distract us if we wanted it to. Today marks another off-day in baseball’s October calendar, with the Fall Classic set to start tomorrow.
