SNY | Coby Green: Masahiro Tanaka dominated the Astros in Game One of the ALCS, which really shouldn’t surprise us anymore after his amazing postseason career. Aaron Boone commented on Tanaka’s performance after the game, including his historic dominance and why he took him out on the earlier side of things.

SNY | Corey Hersch: The Yankees’ ALCS roster featured a few surprises, from CC Sabathia replacing Luke Voit to Tyler Lyons staying on the roster to Aaron Hicks’s unlikely return. Here, Boone commented on what went into some of the roster moves.

New York Post | George A. King III: Everyone’s talking about the potentially juiced baseballs, and there are rampant rumors that the MLB “de-juiced” them for the playoffs. To that extent, the Yankees and Astros commented, but didn’t say definitively if they believe the balls have been regulated or not.

Yahoo Sports | Mike Mazzeo: This is an interesting look at how the Yankees assembled their “A”-lineup. Going piece by piece really emphasizes the impact that Brian Cashman has had in shaping this roster, and highlights several of his best deals, from acquiring Gleyber Torres and Giancarlo Stanton, to swiping Edwin Encarnacion and DJ LeMahieu, to drafting Aaron Judge and Brett Gardner.

New York Post | Joseph Staszewski: Even though the ALCS is underway, trolling the Twins never gets old. After getting swept by the Yankees (and losing two games at Yankee Stadium), Twins reliever Tyler Duffey had some choice words for Yankees fans. He compared them negatively to Boston fans, said they “hate people” and curse too much.

What say you, Yankees fans?
