Pinstripe Alley open thread - 1/8/19

Another day has gone by without much action on the hot stove. On the one hand, it’s nice having the rumors and news to look forward to in the middle of the winter. The offseason usually drags around this time of year. On the flip side, won’t something just happen already?!

There’s plenty to do while we wait. The Islanders, Rangers, and Devils are all in action tonight. It could also be a good night to catch up on some Netflix.

Happy birthday, Jason Giambi! The longtime Yankees first baseman turns 48 today.

It’s also the birthdays of Kevin Whelan, Jeff Francis (remember him?), Brian Boehringer, and Carl Pavano. Interesting bunch, isn’t it?
