Chris Carelli | SNY: With Clint Frazier healthy after a long struggle with lingering concussion symptoms, Carelli argues that aging or unhealthy outfielders like Brett Gardner and Jacoby Ellsbury shouldn’t get in the way of Frazier’s playing time. The once promising prospect acquired in the Andrew Miller trade deserves a shot in left field, even if Gardner was brought back for one more year.

David Schoenfield | ESPN: With Manny Machado and Bryce Harper still available, Schoenfield takes us back through the years of George Steinbrenner, detailing every offseason and who The Boss brought to the Bronx during his tenure, and who has been signed since his passing. It is all a long-winded way of saying that Steinbrenner likely would have pulled the trigger on at least one of the two superstar free agents. Will Hal Steinbrenner finally succumb to his father’s methods? Time will (maybe) tell!

Chris Landers | Cut4: Read this one at your own risk, but here’s Landers listing a whole bunch of stuff that has happened since the Yankees last won it all in 2009, and former Yankees who have won since. It’s not the best way to spend your morning.
