Another day has gone by without a resolution to Manny Machado’s free agency. Hopefully that will come together soon, and result in Machado playing in the Bronx. That would be sweet. For now, we have the Troy Tulowitzki agreement to tide us over.

In the meantime, here’s your open thread for the evening. The Nets, Devils, and Rangers are all in action tonight. Have a good evening!

Yankees Birthdays

Happy birthday, David Cone! The dynasty staple, and author of the team’s third perfect game, was born on this day in 1963.

It’s also the birthday of Scott Proctor, who pitched for the Yankees from 2004-2006, 2007, and in 2011.
