MLBTradeRumors | Steve Adams: If you thought we weren’t going to open this link dump with Manny Machado news, you were mistaken. Yesterday, both Buster Olney and Bob Nightengale suggested that the White Sox were offering Machado a 7-year, $175 million dollar deal. Or, in Yankee terms, just $22 million more than the Jacoby Ellsbury contract. However, Machado’s agent Dan Lozano offered a slight rebuttal to that, stating that the offer is wrong. It’s much more harshly worded than that. Click the link to find out how harshly.

MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: Meanwhile, DJ LeMahieu, whose name I did not get right typing the first time, is excited about his upcoming season in the boogie down. As we all know, including DJ, he is expected to be a super-utility infielder for the Yankees this season. DJ is also excited to play with his former Rockies teammate Troy Tulowitzki. LeMahieu is definitely not going to go up to the plate and try to hit like Giancarlo Stanton or Aaron Judge or Greg Kirkland. He just wants to be a tough out. Good luck!

Cut4 | Jake Mintz: Finally, our friends at Cut 4 have shared some fascinating Yankee footage of former Yankee legends Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig taking batting practices. Now you might not actually like what’s said in the article that has the video from the Moving Image Research Collections at the University of South Carolina in it. However, I’ll leave that up to you.
