The winter continues to crawl along, and the glacial pace of hot stove action has started to fully capture our attention. If you’ve felt that not much has happened this winter, you’re not alone; Ben Lindbergh of The Ringer examined the lack of activity here, while Robert Arthur of Baseball Prospectus did the same here.
The Yankees made a couple moves last week but things have quieted down again. Hopefully that soon changes. In other sports, the New York basketball teams are off, though the NBA slate does include a few good matchups tonight, while in hockey the Rangers and Islanders face off in a crosstown battle.
Question to consider:
What do you think of the slow pace of the offseason? Will this ultimately hurt the free agent players left on the market?
