NJ.com | Mike Rosenstein: It’s 2019, so we should hear the Manny Machado decision any second, right? I personally was hoping he’d make the announcement at 12:01 AM ET. Guess we have to keep waiting for now. At this point, it’s safe to say that Machado will sign with a team before Bryce Harper does. He hasn’t even gone on a free agent tour!

SNY | Anthony McCarron: The ball dropped in Times Square last night, but let’s remember some of the times New York sports teams dropped the ball. (Yes, it was the slowest news day of all time.) The Yankees make this list four times, including the time the Mets dropped Alex Rodriguez’s popup in 2009.

NorthJersey.com | Pete Caldera: Now is the time for making resolutions! Wouldn’t it be nice to see Gary Sanchez win Comeback Player of the Year? We also made our own resolutions for both the players and front office if you want to check them out.
