Thanks to yesterday’s walk-off win, the Yankees are officially in the 2018 playoffs. However, they still have stuff to play for in the regular season, as they can still clinch home-field advantage for the Wild Card Game. They can take one step closer to that today if they can finish off a sweep of the Orioles.
To try and complete the sweep, the Yankees will send J.A. Happ to the mound. Last time out, Happ continued his excellent run as a member of the Yankees, allowing just one run in six innings against the Red Sox.
Elsewhere in the lineup, Luke Voit is up the three spot. He’s hit cleanup a couple times, but this is the highest he’s even been in the lineup. It’s a sign of how crazy impressive he’s been.
Home game 81.

Alex Cobb gets the start for the Orioles, and it would be good if the Yankees actually did something against him this time. Cobb has a 4.90 ERA for the season, and a 2.25 one against the Yankees.
