Champagne celebrations will always be fun.

The Yankees officially secured a place in the postseason on Saturday night. The team did so in dramatic fashion, with a walk-off victory over the Baltimore Orioles. Not only did the Bombers get to celebrate a come-from-behind win, but they also got to pop bottles in the clubhouse!

As is customary at Pinstripe Alley, we compiled some of the highlights from the celebration. Here are some of our favorites:

Aaron Hicks played hero on the night. With one out in the bottom of the 11th, and Didi Gregorius on first base, the Yankees center fielder fouled a ball directly off his ankle. He collapsed to the ground, frightening everyone, before bouncing back to connect with the game-winning hit.

Hicks’ walk-off hit sent the Bombers into celebration mode, and Pinstripe Alley’s own Ryan Pavich was there to capture the on-field fun.

The Yankees moved into the clubhouse, where they went right to the champagne. I wonder if anyone tried Alton Brown’s saber method...

Aaron Judge always does a great job of putting the team’s feelings into words. This clip also shows off the workplace hazard of sports reporting.

Move over, Ellen. This is the selfie of the century.

It’s easy to forget that Giancarlo Stanton has never played in the postseason. Look at how excited he is. “Ow! Burns so good!” he yells between dancing. There’s a joy to Stanton here that makes these celebrations so much fun.
