Today's Yankees - Red Sox game moved to 7:05 PM due to rain

Join us in the game thread later as J.A. Happ looks to go 7-0 in pinstripes.

Today’s series opener against the Red Sox, originally scheduled for a 1:05 PM start, has been moved to 7:05 tonight due to an inclement weather forecast. Join us in the game thread later, as the Bombers look to prevent their rivals from clinching in Yankee Stadium. The Bombers will also try to stay ahead of the Athletics in the race for the top Wild Card berth. No matter which way you look at it, this is an important series.

The Yankees also announced several roster moves. Justus Sheffield and Domingo German have been called up, while Clint Frazier was transferred to the 60-day DL. You can find a full story on the Sheffield promotion here.

Stay tuned for the game thread later tonight. There will be Yankees baseball, just a little later than planned.
