MLB: New York Yankees at Seattle Mariners Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Believe it or not, this is the Yankees’ final day off before season’s end. It feels like Opening Day was just yesterday. Where does the time go? The Yankees could use the breather, though, and I think we can as well. This has been a stressful second half. We’ve been living and dying with each pitch for a few months now.

Why don’t we take a minute to catch our breath and get to know one another a little better? I see a lot of new users in the game threads, so I put together this questionnaire to get the conversation started.

  1. When did you become a Yankees fan?
  2. What’s your favorite Yankees memory?
  3. What is your bold prediction for the Yankees down the stretch and into the postseason?
  4. Outside of baseball, what are your hobbies?
  5. What do you like to do when there’s no Yankees baseball on?

Game threads are way more fun when we know each other, and that’s especially true as the Red Sox come to town. Speaking of which, there are still tickets available on StubHub, which you can purchase by clicking here.

In the meantime, use this as your open thread for the evening. The Seahawks and Bears will play the Monday night game. The Emmy Awards are also on at 8 PM, if you’re a fan of such things. Enjoy!

Site note: The PSA moderating team is hard at work writing up a site-specific moderation policy to supplement the SB Nation Community Guidelines. We want to keep you, our loyal readers, in the forefront of our minds as we draft them. Please feel free to respectfully weigh in with what you want to see from us and we will take note! Thank you all.
