MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: Aaron Judge still cannot swing a bat. The Yankees needed an outfielder. Andrew McCutchen is the outfielder they got. We are about to enter an era of Yankee baseball in which Giancarlo Stanton and Andrew McCutchen are playing for the Yankees and it feels weird and awesome at the same time. As reported yesterday on Pinstripe Alley, McCutchen will wear #26 instead getting #22 on loan from Jacoby Ellsbury, who kinda has no use for it this year.

Cut4 | Adrian Garro: With new pinstripes comes new guidelines. We’ve debated back and forth about the facial hair thing and we probably will again. All I will say at this moment is that Cutch looks really really weird without facial hair. Click the link to see for yourself.

MLBTradeRumors | Jeff Todd: Brian Cashman was a busy little bee last night. It looks like the Yankees acquired Adeiny Hechavarria (first try) and cash considerations from the Pittsburgh Pirates last night. The Yankees will send the Bucs our old friends Pit Banal (or a player to be named later) and Cash Considerations, no relation. LHP Ryan Bollinger has been DFA’d to make room.

Newsday | Erik Boland: Gary Sanchez is set to be activated off of the DL for tomorrow’s game against the Tigers. I’m sure many of the issues that have come up about him before from fans will come up again. Mainly the “lazy” moniker. Well, here are the Kraken’s teammates to defend him against that lazy narrative. Luis Severino, CC Sabathia, and Austin Romine state how hard Gary works day in and day out.
