For most of last night’s game, the offense struggled against the Marlins. However, the Yankees were able to pull off an extra-innings victory despite an injury to their closer. Now they’ll have the chance to sweep the two-game series tonight.

Lance Lynn is set to take the mound opposite of Trevor Richards. The new Yankee impressed through his first three outings in pinstripes, but was roughed up by the Blue Jays during his last start. He surrendered five runs off six hits through four innings. Here’s hoping he can bounce back tonight.

Richards, 25, owns a 4.28 ERA (3.97 FIP) over 90.1 innings this season. This will be the rookie’s first time facing New York. Like Lynn, the right-hander is also coming off of a rocky start. He gave up five runs to the Braves during his last start.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 ET. You can follow the action on YES or FS-F, or tune in to WFAN, WADO, WAQI, WZTU, or 940 AM WINZ.
