Monday’s extra innings loss was annoying, and last night’s win didn’t come easy. However, the Yankees still have a chance to win this series against the Braves. CC Sabathia will take the mound for New York. He continues to pitch well this season (3.02 ERA, 4.06 FIP). Most recently, he held the Red Sox to just one run over seven innings. It doesn’t get much better than that.
He will face off against Julio Teheran. The right-hander has been all over the place this season. During his last outing, he tossed six shutout innings against the Cardinals, but he gave up seven runs to a struggling Baltimore team before that. It’s tough to know what to expect from Teheran, and the lineup doesn’t have too much experience against him.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 ET. You can watch the game on YES or FSSE, or follow along with WFAN, WADO, or WYAY.
