Well, the series against Baltimore didn’t go as planned. Then again, the Orioles have been able to beat the Yankees all season. It’s disappointing to split a series with one of the worst teams in baseball, but at least they finished the series on a high note. Hopefully last night’s offense shows up in Cleveland.
The Yankees will send Luis Severino to the mound opposite of Corey Kluber tonight. If you can only catch one game of this series, tune in for this one. Sevy continues to put up the best numbers of his career, posting a 2.12 ERA with 0.96 WHIP headed into tonight’s game. Kluber is also putting together another great season. He tossed seven scoreless innings against the Athletics during his last outing. This will be his first time facing the Yankees this year.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 ET. You can catch the game on YES, SportsTime Ohio, or MLB Network (out of market only), or listen to WFAN, WADO, WTAM, or WMMS.
Last series before the break kicks off with a bang.

All-Star Corey Kluber doesn't allow many people to reach base.

In 19 starts this season, Kluber is 2nd in the Majors with a .879 WHIP.
