MLB.com | Danny Knobler: Before we breakdown the fun, let’s get some obvious stuff out of the way: #GleyberGood. Gleyber Torres has been up in the majors for two weeks now and every day it seems like we’re talking about how much he’s impressing. When he was first called up, Aaron Boone said that Torres didn’t have any one thing that would “wow” people, but overall Boone’s been wowed by Torres’ play. Boone was very complimentary of Torres’ instincts and said all his tools are “really good.” Now on to the fun part...
Cut4 | Chris Landers: Gleyber very good, y’all. Gleyber Torres hit a walk-off home run against the Cleveland Baseball Team yesterday and everyone in Yankee Stadium went bonkers. We’ve all talked about Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge, and Gary Sanchez’s monster dongs, but Torres is showing his dongs off too. Go watch the celebration, and pay special attention to Ronald Torreyes and what I originally thought was a head of lettuce.

To add to the fun celebration videos. I love this team.
At 21 years and 144 days old, Gleyber Torres in the youngest player in @Yankees history to hit a walk-off HR.

Is that good?
New York Post | Dan Martin: Before Torres’ heroics yesterday, the story was all about Domingo German as he threw six-innings of no-hit ball before being lifted. The Yankees hoped for five innings or about 70 pitches from German, but he was so effective that Boone let him go a further and get through six innings with 84 pitches. German admitted to overthrowing a bit towards the end so it’s probably a good thing Boone took him out when he did, as disappointing as it may be. For now though, German has earned his rotation spot.
New York Post | George A. King III: If the Yankees win the World Series this year, CC Sabathia will call it a career. Sabathia said that he wants “one more parade” and he’s “pretty sure that will be it.” Sabathia said he might’ve retired last year if the Yankees had gone on to win the World Series because “that’s what you play for.” He says everyone is “itching for the next one” and the way this team has been playing of late, it’s not out of the question. Let’s hope the Yankees can send CC off with a bang!
That's the end of an 18-game stretch.

Remember when you were worried about playing 18 straight games? Now Judge and Didi are laughing at you. HA! The Yankees now get a much-deserved day off today.

Sir Didi Gregorius was excited by his new best friend.
Great start by going 6strong no hit innings

Domingo German is officially ant in the Didictionary! What? You thought Sir Didi, the most wonderful human being on the planet, would forget about German? Both rookies were so good yesterday that they got their own individual tweets. There’s no reason to not celebrate them both!
