After taking game one of three in Arlington last night, the Yankees will turn to Domingo German to try and clinch a series win against the Rangers, in what would be their ninth series victory in a row.

Cole Hamels, a potential trade chip, gets the ball for the Rangers. He enters the game with a 3.48 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 51 23 innings pitched. Meanwhile, the Yanks hope for a bounce-back start from German, who was beat up for six runs in five innings against Oakland in his last outing. He tossed six no-hit innings in his first career start against the Indians in early May.

Brett Gardner will get the night off against the lefty Hamels, as Giancarlo Stanton will handle left field. Stanton has feasted against southpaws this season, and could be in for a big night. Aaron Hicks, who has been better of late, bats leadoff, while Miguel Andujar is back at the hot corner after a night off on Monday. The red-hot Gleyber Torres rounds out the lineup.

You can catch tonight’s game on YES and WFAN.
