ESPN.com | Coley Harvey: If you’re a regular reader of my link dumps, you should know that I like dingers. I’m a big fan of them. So I was definitely happy when I found this particular link, stating that the 2018 Yankees were the first team to have four players hit ten home runs each by their 40th game since the 2003 Texas Rangers. That magical feat of dongdom was achieved when Giancarlo Stanton powered one into the Yankees bullpen for his 10th of the year. Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, and Sir Didi Gregorius all surround the dong court, with Judge sitting atop the tater throne with 11. This lineup is pretty good.

New York Post | Kevin Kernan: Speaking of Giancarlo Stanton, he is a New York Yankee. Just thought you should know. Stanton had a pretty good time at Yankee Stadium this time around. Furthermore, as if reading Kunj Shah’s article and helping prove it correct, Stanton is crushing left-handed pitching. Yes sir, he’s hurting lefties more than a spiral notebook on a right-handed high school desk does. Mead Composition Notebooks are their only friends after Stanton is done with them.

Newsday | Brian Heyman: Luis Severino had a slightly off performance yesterday. Before we go further, let’s just clarify that “off performance” still meant he went six innings, gave up one run and five hits while walking two and striking out seven. That, by definitely, is a quality start. His sixth in a row, I might add. Still, Severino was not satisfied. His fastball command and slider were not working, but he still managed to grind it out and give the Yankees’ bullpen a bit of a rest. I like Sevy a lot.

Cut4 | Adrian Garro: I’ve watched this highlight about a dozen times and I’m going to watch it again. During yesterday’s solid Dellin Betances performance, he caught a ball headed up the middle by backhanding it, without even looking. Don’t believe me? Check this out!

Inconceivable!
