Will Domingo German help snap the Yankees’ two-game losing streak?

MLB: Cleveland Indians at New York Yankees Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports

After winning 17 of 18 games, the Yankees have dropped two in a row after a frustrating 10-5 loss to the Athletics last night in the Bronx. They’ll look to get back in the win column today in the middle game of this three-game set.

The Yanks send Domingo German to the hill, who was fantastic in his last outing, which was also his first career start in the majors. The 25-year-old tossed six hitless innings against Cleveland last weekend, tallying nine strikeouts. He will look for his first career win while facing Andrew Triggs, Oakland’s right-hander who is coming off a strong outing against the Orioles. He recorded nine strikeouts through seven innings while allowing just one earned run. He has a 4.41 ERA on the season.

The game can be seen today on YES, NBCSCA, or MLB Network in out of market areas. If you only have a radio within reach, tune to WFAN, WADO or 95.7 The Game.

Here’s what the Yankees’ lineup will look like today against Triggs:
