How will Sonny Gray do against his former team?

The Yankees lost to the Red Sox last night and ended their eight-game winning streak, but that’s okay. They will just have to start a new streak tonight. Based on the nine-game streak that came earlier in the season, they seem up to the challenge.

Tonight, the Yankees will welcome the Athletics to New York to kick off a three-game series. Sonny Gray will take the mound for the Yankees. He struggled for much of April, but seems to have figured it out lately. Gray surrendered just two earned runs during his previous two starts against Houston and Boston. He will face off against Kendall Graveman, who has been roughed up early (28 earned runs through 28 and one-third innings).

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 ET. You can follow along on YES, NBCSCA, or MLB Network (out of market only). The game will also be available on WFAN, WADO or 95.7 The Game.
